Mr. Summers attended
high school in Fort Worth, where he was the 4A District and Regional
Champion in Tennis (1983). He lettered in tennis in college and
graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Finance with
a Real Estate Concentration (1987). He earned a Real Estate Broker’s
License in 1986 and worked in all phases of commercial and
residential real estate.
Mr. Summers graduated from South Texas College of Law, Magna
Cum Laude, with a J.D. (1994). Mr. Summers is currently a member of
the State Bar of Texas (Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section and
Construction Law Section) and the Tarrant County Bar Association. He
is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts and the Federal
Courts in the Northern District of Texas.
Mr. Summers was
previously a Director of the Fort Worth-Tarrant County Young Lawyers
Association (1999), an Associate of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court
(1996-1999) and a Judge for the Fort Worth Teen Court (1996-1997).
